This is recent Fresno County Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) graduation by
Valley PBS. I am so honored and proud to know and volunteer with two of the Veteran Mentors Thom Miller (Central Valley Veterans board member) and John Templeton (American Red Cross Service to Armed Forces vol) I am sharing this to support VTC awareness and Veteran mentor recruitment. Please share this widely and with enthusiasm as it is a successful program working for our Valley Veterans and being modeled in other CA counties. Congrats to VTC graduates: Robert Reed, Aaron Schlueter, Michael Lawrence, and Nicholas Ramey. Thank you Judge Alvarez & Chittick, Fresno County DA Smittcamp, Susan Bamajian, Gid, Bob and so many others. Congratulations and best wishes for continued VTC success stories in the near future!
Respectfully submitted, Sarah Brown-Monroe, CVV Board member.

This article sheds light on the incredible impact of the Fresno County Veterans Treatment Court in providing much-needed support for our veterans. It's heartening to see a program that not only recognizes the unique challenges faced by veterans but also actively works to address them through compassion and accountability. By offering specialized treatment and rehabilitation instead of traditional punitive measures, the court helps these individuals reintegrate into society with dignity and purpose. It’s a powerful reminder of our responsibility to support those who have served our country, ensuring they receive the second chances they deserve.
