Breakfast Burrito's Event help May 11, 2018 On May 11th, 2018 AT&T, Communications Workers of America Local (CWA) 9408 and Central Valley Veterans Organization came together to support a great cause, helping California's Central Valley Veterans in need. When Managers tasked the local office with finding a non-profit organization in the area to support. Yvette and Mike began a month long search for the right fit. Looking for an organization that shared similar values and served the areas that their group serves. They reached out to team members within AT&T and even looking at groups outside of AT&T. They selected CVV Organization because they are helping Veterans, and covered the same turf the technicians in the area cover. From Bakersfield to Modesto and Coalinga to Porterville. The local AT&T Veteran Employee Resource Group Founder Justin N. was also on hand during the event. He served in the cook line and was even seen doing dishes! The event was a huge success generating $900 which was presented to John Schuler, Board member of CVV following the event. We wish to thank all of the employees that generously donated their time and resources to this event. We are looking forward to partnering with AT&T and the CWA union in the near future.
