Bill has demonstrated this for the past 7 years while volunteering with CVV. Bill has been working with veterans in the central valley for over 8 years. He does not hesitate to get involved and help his fellow veterans in their time of need. He is an amazing cook and feeds those attending the 4 day Stand Down event and the Warriors on the Lake event to name a few. Bill’s passion for service is remarkable. He has organized the Thanksgiving Meal give away for those veterans, reserve, guard and active duty members that are in need. He coordinates the donations of food items, recipients, volunteers and delivery of food boxes. Then he turns around a couple of weeks later and does it again for Christmas Meals and gifts for children. When CVV purchased the “Hospitality House” 2 years ago, Bill has been the lead on remodels and improvements that were needed. He acts as a property manager while there are veterans staying at the Hospitality House.
Congratulations Bill! We are very proud of you and the great work you do in our community.
